what age are we living in?

it's true this city is an amalgamation of the past, present and future. it's so modern yet so ancient. i mean what better way to illustrate this than a horse carriage passing by my place this morning. one could already hear them hooves from a mile away and the coachman, all decked up in his hat and dress coat. i'm guessing it's only for touristy purposes but it does go into the residential area since it passes by my place every other morning.
