Schiphol, Amsterdam

I arrived, yes obviously, safe and sound nonetheless. the flight of 14hours was a tad too long - given the pathetic designated seat area - you can imagine how glad i was to walk out of that plane! i arrived about 8am (or thereabouts) and there was no sunlight. NO SUNLIGHT. i was terrified until i learnt that the sun rose only around 9am; and it sets around 4.30pm. talk about short days!

it snowed the days before so the roads were lined with just white, white, landscapes and it was beautiful.
